Having begun my practice of Acupuncture in 2021, alongside another ocean, in midcoast Maine, I look forward to continued deepening in the Bay Area, in the good company of Bay Laurel, Karl (fog), and the dynamic variety of human beings who reside here.

My practice reflects the traditions I have had the opportunity to learn, from many incredible teachers who have shared their medicine. I continue to be shaped by every person I meet in clinic, and feel a sense of wonder and great fortune to witness so many unique lives.

I appreciate the capacity of acupuncture to help support a person in their return to flow, honor the body's inherent wisdom, self-regulation and healing, and to facilitate connection within our greater context as beings. It is incredible how much can be addressed when we begin to really listen to the subtle and less-subtle communications coming through us.

I am grateful to be able to practice this beautiful tradition, and for what it reveals of the rich, relational quality of life.

My life has involved various pursuits related to art, literature, cultural anthropology, tending plants, and being of service—notably to two near-centenarian women with eastern health leanings.

My education

I attended the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in San Francisco, and graduated from Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine College in Berkeley. I continue to study Five Element Acupuncture and the Classical Complement Channels.
